Dealer & RM Training
Customers are already looking for you.
EMotorad spends money every day on ads so that people say “I want an e-cycle.” Those people now come straight to your phone, inside the EM Biz app, in a section called Leads.
Three things to know before we start
These are real, interested people. They filled a form or answered our ad. They are not random numbers.
You are not calling alone. Our own EMotorad calling team (BDC team) is also calling the same customer, and booking test rides at your store.
Your only job: call them, bring them to your shop, and close the sale.
This training takes 10 minutes. On every phone screen, the numbers point at a button and the heading sits beside it. Nothing here can break your app — it is only a guide.
Chapter 1
How a customer reaches your phone
Four steps. That's the whole story.
1
Customer shows interest. They see an EMotorad ad or visit our website and share their number.
2
The lead lands in your app. Same moment, it also goes to EMotorad's calling team.
3
Our team calls and books a test ride at your store. Now the lead becomes hot for you.
4
You call, they visit, you sell. And you tell the app what happened.
Why are two people calling one customer?
Because it works. Our team qualifies the customer and fixes a time. You are the local shop they will actually walk into. Two calls sell far more cycles than one.
Why must you update the app?
The app only knows what you tell it. If you don't update, our team may call a customer who already bought from you — and you may call someone who already said no. One tap after each call keeps everyone right.
Chapter 2
Where to find Leads
Open the EM Biz app. Tap your name or the menu at the top-left. Then tap Leads.
The numbers on the screen match the numbers below
Chapter 3
Your Leads screen, button by button
This is the screen you will open every morning.
The numbers on the screen match the numbers below
Chapter 4
The four boxes — and what to do in each
Tap a box below to see it on the phone and learn what it means.
Chapter 5
How to read one customer's card
Every line on the card is telling you something useful.
The numbers on the screen match the numbers below
Chapter 6
Open the card to see the full story
Tap any lead card and this page opens. Spend 10 seconds here before you press Call — you will sound much smarter on the phone.
The numbers on the screen match the numbers below
A small trick that works. If Activity shows our team just spoke to them, don't start with “Hello sir, are you interested in a cycle?” Start with “Sir, you spoke with our EMotorad team about the X3 — I am calling from your nearest store.”
Chapter 7 · Important
When you press Call, your phone rings first
This surprises everyone the first time. Please read this carefully — it is not a problem, and it is not a spam call.
1
You press Call
Nothing seems to happen for a second or two. Keep the phone with you.
2
📞 Your phone rings
You get an incoming call from an EMotorad number (a virtual number). Pick it up. This call is for you.
3
Customer is connected
The moment you answer, the system calls the customer. When they pick up, you are both talking. Now start your pitch.
Step 2 — your phone rings from an EMotorad number
Why is it done this way?
The customer's number stays private. You never see or store it.
The call gets recorded in the app. That is how Call History and “Last Connected” fill up automatically.
The customer sees an EMotorad number, verified as a business. They are more likely to pick up.
Do not cut this call. If you reject the incoming EMotorad number, the customer never gets called. If you miss it, simply press Call on the lead again.
Save this number in your phone
Save +91 8068 123 117 as “EMotorad Leads Call”. Then you will always know to pick it up, even when you are busy on the shop floor.
Chapter 8
If no test ride is booked yet
On a Follow-Up or New customer, you will not see a slot. You will see a blue button instead — and that button is where your sale begins.
This is the goal of every Follow-Up and New call
You are not trying to sell a cycle on the phone. You are trying to get one thing: a day and time they will visit your shop. Everything else happens in person.
Offer a choice, not a question. “Sir, Saturday evening or Sunday morning?” works better than “When will you come?”
Give them a reason to come. Free test ride, see the colours in person, check the seat height for their child.
Once booked, send them your shop location on WhatsApp.
Chapter 9 · The most important part
After every call, press Update Status
The app asks one simple question: “What happened on the call?” Every answer is explained below, with the exact screen you will see.
This menu opens after every call
Two small differences
On a Follow-Up or New lead the menu shows Book Test Ride.
On a To-Visit lead, the ride is already booked, so that option becomes Re-schedule instead.
Everything else is exactly the same in all four boxes.
Remember: a lead you called but did not update is a lead nobody is working. Your RM cannot see your effort, and our team may disturb the same customer again.
Chapter 10
Leads move by themselves
You never drag a lead from one box to another. What you write in Update Status moves it for you. Try it below.
1. Pick where the lead is sitting now
2. Pick what happened on your call
❄️ New
Your lead
🌤️ Follow-Up
Your lead
🔥 To-Visit
Your lead
✅ Closed
Your lead
Pick an action above to see where the lead goes.
The rules in one look
New→Follow-Up
when the call connects, or you save any update on it
New→To-Visit
when you add a test ride date
Follow-Up→To-Visit
when you add a test ride date
Follow-Up→Closed
when you mark Purchased or Not Interested
To-Visit→Closed
when you mark Purchased or Not Interested
Leads never go backwards. A Follow-Up lead can only become To-Visit or Closed. It will never fall back to New. So the more you talk to customers, the better your list gets.
Chapter 11
Finding exactly what you need
Tap the filter symbol at the top-right of the Leads screen.
The numbers on the screen match the numbers below
Three filters worth remembering
To-Visit + Test ride date + this week — your appointment diary for the week.
New + Lead date + last 7 days — the freshest untouched customers.
Follow-Up + Follow up date + today — your call list for this morning.
Chapter 12
Ten minutes, three times a day
You don't need a system. You need a habit. Tick these off as you read.
🌅 Morning · 9:30 to 11:00 — protect today's sales
☀️ Midday · 11:00 to 2:00 — build tomorrow's sales
🌆 Evening · 5:00 to 7:30 — fill the pipeline
If you only do one thing: call every To-Visit → Today's lead each morning. Just that habit will pay you back many times over.
Chapter 13
Do this. Not that.
✓ Please do
Update the status after every call
Read Activity before you dial
Write remarks a stranger could understand next week
Fill in Model and Budget whenever the customer tells you
Re-schedule instead of giving up
Always call from inside the app
Try New leads at different times of day
✕ Please don't
Don't let Needs Update pile up
Don't mark Not Interested just because they didn't pick up — that is Not Picking Up
Don't write remarks like “ok”, “later”, “no response”
Don't hide a sale lost to another brand — mark it honestly
Don't wait for the customer to call you back. They won't
Don't share customer numbers outside your team
Don't cut the incoming EMotorad call when you press Call
Chapter 14
Six quick questions
No marks, no report. Just to make sure it all stuck.
Chapter 15
